Offered mechanical antique high end a Vacheron & Constantin (Veuve C. Vacheron) top level richly engraved movement with serial number 132647, made circa 1870 in Switzerland with a fascinating story.

Between 1870 and 1875 , after the death of Charles and César Vacheron, the company was taken over by the widows Catherine Etierinette Vacheron and Laure Vacheron Parnessin, and for 5 years the manufactory changed its name to 'Veuve C. Vacheron & Co.' Vacheron")

Another interesting feature of this machine is that the seconds, intermediate and hour wheels are made of gold. Gold components are less susceptible to wear and corrosion, which extends the life of the movement. In addition, gold as a material minimizes friction between moving parts, thus contributing to the smooth running of the watch. This detail underlines high quality and precision craftsmanship of the movement.

The case for this watch was made of 316L stainless steel and surface treated by engraving with tulle. The skeleton dial is complemented by elegant gold-plated V & C hands. The movement is protected by front and back mineral glass, and the diameter of the case without the crown is 48 mm.

This watch has undergone a general service and is in perfect working order.

This is a unique handwork that required approximately 520 hours of craftsmanship. This unique handiwork represents the perfect combination of Swiss engineering and artistic craftsmanship, combined in one unrepeatable piece.

The watch is equipped with a strap made of genuine stingray leather, handmade.
